赵宝平，字散石，号天柱山人、含道山房主人、集虚斋主人、七竹堂主人，祖籍山东省平度市。
　　1960年生于辽宁省大连市。1984年7月毕业于鲁迅美术学院中国画系，获文学学士学位，1987年7月毕业于鲁迅美术学院中国画系，获文学硕士学位。
　　鲁迅美术学院教授，中国画系主任，中国画系书法学专业主任，中国画专业、书法学专业研究生导师，中国美术家协会会员，中国书法家协会会员，辽宁省美术家协会副主席，辽宁湖社书画研究会会长，辽宁省普通高等院校专业带头人，辽宁省艺术系列美术专业高级评委会评委，辽宁省非物质文化遗产保护工作专家委员会成员，中国周易学会常务理事，辽宁省书法家协会理事。出版专著七部，主编教材九部，发表论文十余篇，入编画集二十余部。作品分别参加第六、八、十一届全国美展及国内外重要展览。
　　Zhao Baoping, styled Sanshi, is also known by his literary name Master of Mount Tianzhu, Master of Mount Handao Studio, Master of Ji’xu Studio, and Master of Seven-bamboo Studio. His ancestral home is in Pingdu, Shandong province.
　　He was born in Dalian, Liaoning Province in 1960. In July, 1984 he graduated from Chinese Painting Department, Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, and got his Bachelor of Arts. In July, 1987 he graduated from Chinese Painting Department, LAFA, and got his Master of Arts.
　　Now Professor Zhao Baoping is the dean of Chinese Painting Department in LAFA, the Director of Calligraphy Specialty of Chinese Painting Department, one of the post-graduate tutors of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Specialty, member of China Artists Association, member of China Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairman of Liaoning Artists Association, Vice Chairman of Liaoning Artists Association, Chairman of Liaoning Lake Community Calligraphy & Painting Seminar, one of the Academic Leaders of Higher Education in Liaoning Province, judge of Senior Juries for Liaoning Fine Arts of Arts Series, member of Experts Committee for Liaoning Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage, Standing Director of Chinese Book of Changes Society, Director of Liaoning Calligraphers Association. He has published seven monographs, has been the editor-in-chief for nine textbooks, has published more than ten articles, and has been collected into more than twenty art books. His works entered separately the 6th, 8th, and 11th National Fine Arts Exhibition and other important art shows home and abroad.
