萧晖荣
简介
萧晖荣教授一九四六年出生于广东华侨家庭，字谷人，工花卉，亦写山水、人物，擅写梅，喜中国美术史论，并精鉴赏。六十年代初则开始从事美术创作并发表作品，七十年代开始与朱屺瞻、刘海粟、吴作人、唐云、程十发、陆俨少、赖少其、陈大羽、宋文治、周昌谷、黄苗子、黄永玉、白雪石、杨善深、王蒙、徐邦达、饶宗颐等中国艺坛诸多名家和学者交游推祟，或有作品合作。八十年代初张大千题「书画家」相赠，1982年与当代名家周昌谷、黄幻吾联展于香港大会堂及美国图书馆，中国画作品连续入选第六、七、八、九、十届「全国美术作品展」。2005年至2006年曾在北京(全国政协大礼堂)、南京(江苏美术馆)、上海(刘海粟美术馆)、西安(西安美术学院)、杭州(浙江大学、唐云艺术馆)、广州(广州艺术博物院)、深圳(何香凝美术馆)、汕头(汕头博物馆)、香港(香港大会堂)和东京(日中友好会馆)等十大城市举办十一次《萧晖荣中国画展》，好评如潮，中央电视台及《人民日报》、《美术》杂志等数十传媒皆给予报导，中央领导人：王忠禹、韩启德，张梅颖及日本首相夫人安倍昭惠，及当代艺术界代表均出席画展开幕式或题赞，王蒙、刘大为等作序，汕头市电视台拍摄萧晖荣专题片《画到梅花不让人》和《融古铸今》等。作品入藏故宫博物院、全国政协书画室中国美术馆、钓鱼台国宾馆、江苏美术馆、汕头博物馆等，并为很多海内外知名人士如日本首相安倍晋三等收藏。现为西泠印社社员、浙江大学中国艺术研究所研究员、西安美术学院客座教授等。萧氏是一位通过长期收藏、鉴赏、交游、勤攻、悟道而登上艺术殿堂，为极具大家风采之当代中国画名家。
Professor Siu Fai Wing (zi Guren) who was born in 1946 in Guangdong, concentrates on painting flowers and is an expert at painting plum blossom but also paints landscapes and figures. He is fond of Chinese art history and theory and a connoisseur. Since the early 1960’s he has started to paint and publish his works. In the 1970’s he began to establish close relations and sometimes painted jointly with famous artists and scholars, such as Zhu Jizhan, Liu Haisu, Wu Zuoren, Tang Yun, Cheng Shifa, Lu Yanshao, Lai Shaoqi, Chen Dayu, Song Wenzhi, Zhou Changgu, Huang Miaozi, Huang Yongyu, Bai Xueshi, Yang Shanshen, Wang Meng, Xu Bangda and Rao Zongyi and others. Zhang Daqian inscribed “Painter and Calligrapher” for him in the early 1980’s. He held a joint exhibition together with the contemporary famous artists: Zhou Changgu and Huang Huanwu at the Hong Kong City Hall and American Library in 1982. His paintings were selected for the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Exhibitions of National Art Works. From 2005 to 2006, he held eleven solo exhibitions in Beijing (the Great Hall of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference), Nanjing (Jiangsu Art Gallery), Shanghai (Liu Haisu Art Gallery), Xi’an (Xi’an Art Academy), Hang Zhou (Zhejiang University and Tang Yuan Art Museum), Guang Zhou (Guang Zhou Art Museum), Shen Zhen (He Xiangning Art Gallery), Shan Tou (Shan Tou Museum), Hong Kong (Hong Kong City Hall) and Tokyo (Japan-China Friendship Center) separately. These exhibitions were highly praised and widely reported by more than ten media, such as CCTV, People’s Daily and Art Magazine. Political leaders, such as Wang Zhongyu, Han Qide, Zhang Meiying and Madam Abe, and representatives of the art filed attended the opening ceremonies. Two special series of TV programs concerning Siu’s painting was produced by STTV. His paintings are in the collections of the Palace Museum in Beijing, Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Diao Yu Tai of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jiangsu Art Gallery and Shan Tou Museum. They are also collected by many overseas celebrities, the prime minister of Japan, Abe Shinzo for example. He is a member of the Xiling Seal Association, research fellow at the Chinese Art Research Institute of Zhejiang University, visiting Professor at the Xi’an Art Academy, and holds various other positions. Professor Siu is an outstanding contemporary Chinese painter who has been a collector and connoisseur for many years, has engaged with other artists and is diligent and knowledgeable.
