生于广州。1995年毕业于广州美术学院附中，1999年毕业于广州美术学院设计系，获文学学士学位。现为广东美术馆平面设计师，广东省美术家协会会员。曾以主设计师身份参与广东美术馆多项重要展览的平面设计，包括“意大利设计1945—2000展”、“广州三年展”、“第50届威尼斯双年展中国馆展览”、“广州国际摄影双年展”等。平面设计作品曾多次在省、全国和国际大赛中获奖，包括“广东之星平面设计大赛”银奖、“第六届全国书籍装帧艺术展览”铜奖、“第二届华人平面设计大赛”入选奖。2005年起投入艺术创作，创作媒介涉及雕塑、油画和水墨。作品多次参加北京、上海、广州当代艺术展并获奖。包括“2005上海国际城市雕塑双年展”、“70后艺术：市场改变中国之后的一代——上海•北京巡回展”、“北京798艺术节”、“广东新青年艺术大展”、“目眩神迷——新时代动漫美学展2009-2010”、“视觉惊艳——2005年上海青年美术大展”（获优秀奖）等。2010年于广州孙悟空间（Just Space）举办个展“I NEED YOU——2010汤延作品展”，2011年于广州三彩画廊举办“在这里——2011汤延作品展”。作品被广东美术馆和私人收藏。 　　Born in Guangzhou,Finished study in the Attached Middle School of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1995.Graduated from the department of Visual Communication Design in Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts with B.A in 1999.Currently be Graphic Designer of Guangdong Museum of Art, member of Guangdong Artists Association. 　　Tang Yan had a hand in the graphic design of numbers of important exhibitions held in Guangdong Museum of Art as a major designer, including Italian Design 1945-2000, Guangzhou Triennial, 50th Venice Biennial(Chinese Pavilion), Guangzhou Photo Biennial etc. Her works of graphic design have won the prizes not only in the exhibitions held in Guangdong province, but also inside and outside China for many times, such as the Silver Award of Guangdong Star Graphic Design Competition, Bronze Award of The 6th National Book Design Exhibition, Nominee of The 2nd Chinese Graphic Design Competition. 　　Tang Yan started to create her own works in 2005, with a variety of media involving sculpture, oil painting and ink painting. Her works have participated and got the awards in many contemporary art exhibitions in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, including 2005 Shanghai International Public Sculpture Biennial, Art of the Post-70s: The Generation Changed by Market---Tour Exhibition in Shanghai and Beijing, Beijing 798 Art Festival, Art Exhibition by Guangdong Young Generation, Dazzled and Enchanted: New Age Animamix 2009-2010, Vision Express: 2005 Shanghai Youth Biennial(with Outstanding Award) etc. She had her solo exhibition I NEED YOU: Art Works By Tang Yan 2010 in Just Space in Guangzhou and BE HERE: Art Works By Tang Yan 2011 in Guangzhou Sancai Gallery. 　　Her art works are collected by Guangdong Museum of Art and private collectors.
