【Spot Introduction】

Odaesan National Park - Woljeongsa Temple

Odaesan Mountain is in Gangwon-do and the mountain was designated a national park in February 1975.

Its main peak - Birobong Peak is 1563m high,other peaks include Horyeongbong, Sangwangbong, Dongdaesan, and Durobong.Woljeongsa Temple is located in a forested valley east of Odaesan Mountain, and is in charge of over 60 temples and 8 monasteries in the area.

Seongyojang House

Located in Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do. It was designated Important Folklore Material No. 5 in 1967. This is a place where you can find much valuable collection and participate traditional culture experiences.

Gyeongpodae

It’s also located in Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do. It is a large, tall pavilion, and its architectural feature of a paljak (eight-point) roof, is the most common form used in Korean buildings. It has been designated as Regional Cultural Asset No. 6.
